Mediterranean Blonde 

My name is Kailtyn Frederick and I'm a Zoology major at Illinois State University! GO REDBIRDS! I was born and raised in Illinois and I have a wonderful boyfriend of a year and a half who I miss like crazy! I'm studying abroad in Cyprus for four months and I'm attending the University of Nicosia. The program I'm doing is the Semester in the Meditteranean through Global Learning Semesters. I'll be traveling to Italy, Greece, and Spain and maybe some independent traveling as well :)

I've always wanted to study abroad and I love traveling and see new places. I decided on Cyprus beacuse not a lot of people know where it is or think it's apart of Greece (which it isn't). I also wanted to go somewhere unique and I feel a lot of students that do study abroad goes to England or the UK. And it doesn't hurt that I'm escaping the harsh cold of Chicago's winter!

I'm making this blog as a reminder to me of everwhere I went while abroad and also to show my friends and family my adventures here. 

I want to give a special thanks to my dad for allowing me to have such an amazing opportunity and helping me figure out everything.
